About Jazwares and Pokémon Licensing
If you"ve bought a Pokémon figure from Walmart, Target, or GameStop in the last few years, odds are it had the Jazwares logo on the box. They"re the current master toy licensee for Pokémon in all regions outside of Asia. It started back in 2017, when The Pokémon Company International gave Wicked Cool Toys the rights (beginning July 2018) to make and sell Pokémon toys outside Asia.[1]Then, Jazwares bought Wicked Cool Toys in 2019 and thus also obtained the license to sell Pokémon toys.
